Howdy cowpokes! First and foremost I would really like to thank all of you for signing up for our mailing list, we really appreciate the support. Colin and I just wanted to reach out and offer a quick update on what's going on with the game, what we're working on, and when you can expect to begin playing around with the system.
As some of you know we debuted a play test of the game at Gary Con a few weeks ago. Those of you that played, thank you so much, we appreciate the great feedback you gave us. It was a wonderful treat to get such a positive response back from the players we had. We look forward to running more demos at Gen Con this year in August.
For those of you interested in play testing we hope to have a packet out to you by the end of next month. If you aren't already signed up feel free to add your name to the list on the website:
The play-test packet will also include a sample adventure, the same adventure we were running at Gary Con: The Showdown at the Salt Saloon. The packet will also include a blank character sheet, blank NPC sheets, and stat blocks for a few animals and NPC characters. The adventure itself will come with 10 pre-generated characters for you to use while playing the Showdown at the Salt Saloon. Play as either the Outlaws or the Law as you light things off in the city of Salt's local tavern.
Right now we are working hard to continue expanding upon character abilities and general abilities. We are planning on launching with a set of 10 different character classes, each with their own list of abilities that they can gain while leveling in the game.
We hope to deliver the play-test packet to you by the end of April, and will keep you updated on the progress. Remember if you have any questions feel free to contact us.
In the coming weeks we will also be creating a discord channel where all of you can have a dialogue with us, as well as a message board where we can discuss the game with all of you.
Finally, I would like to leave you with a few samples from our first art order for the packet. These are just preliminary sketches, but are a good indication of what's to come.
